My name is Erin Jago and Arid Hand is the platform for my creative world.
All of my designs are strongly inspired by my own personal journey and love of nature.
I have a strong passion for the flora, fauna and geology of Western Australia and I aspire to communicate and celebrate this through my art.
My creative process is very intuitive. Each piece will start as a ball of clay, I then use the technique of pinching to achieve a base form and will combine other hand building techniques such as coiling and slab building to create the finished form.
I truly believe that everyone deserves to have access to art. We owe it to ourselves to surround ourselves with objects that resonate with us.
