About the Event

You can feel comforted in knowing that everyone is inately creative. If you're feeling you've lost touch over the years, it is simply about taking some time out to explore and experiment with different mediums until you find the one (or three) that "click" for you.

Arid Hand creative clay workshops are the perfect space to explore your unique creativity through clay.

How do you know if ceramics is for you? You simply have to give it an honest go, and I will be with you every step of the way.

In this intimate creative workshop we will be working with Terracotta clay. Terracotta is a beautiful clay to work with and is particularly well suited to hand-building. In this workshop I will teach you a variety of hand building and decorative techniques so that you will be able to create and decorate your very own terracotta planter and / or dried flower vessel.

FOOD AND DRINK: A glass of sparkling or wine, light afternoon nibbles and a selection of tea and instant coffee.

CERAMIC FIRING: Your ticket cost includes kiln firing of 1-2 ceramic pieces. They will be available for collection 4-6 weeks after the workshop (Postage delivery will incurr an additional fee)

GOOD VIBES: arid hand strives to create a safe, judgement free and friendly atmosphere for all attendees.

The workshop will be held under my backyard alfresco. Be sure to dress for the weather so that you can be as comfortable as possible. Address will be provided upon booking (or as requested).

Hand building with terracotta clay can get messy! You will need to clean your hands of smooshy clay throughout the workshop so I do recomment bringing an apron or a towel with you.

There is always a first time for everything, so why not give clay a go, you might just reignite that creative spark you've had with you all along.
